Lov, hvorved Kongens Myndigheds Alder bestemmes.
Stockholms Slot, den 18de Juli 1815.
Vi Carl, af Guds Naade Konge til Sverrig og Norge, de Gothers og Venders x.x.x., Hertug til Slesvig, Holsteen, Stormarn og Dithmarsken, Greve til Oldenborg og Delmenhorst x.x.;
Gjøre vitterligt: At Os er bleven forelagt det nu forsamlede ordentlige Storthings Beslutning, dateret den 13de Juli 1815 saaledes lydende:
"Det fyldte attende Aar skal være Kongens Myndigheds Alder."
Thi have Vi antaget og bekræftet, ligesom Vi herved antage og bekræfte denne Beslutning som Lov.
Givet paa Stockholms Slot, den 18de juli 1815.

The attained eighteenth Year shall be the King's Age of Majority.

The act was repealed by Act. of 13 May 1921 No. 2 concerning the King's age of majority.
The "x.x.x." was the way "etc." was written at the time. The Act as an whole was originally printed in Gothic.
The act was regarded as part of the constitution during the union with Sweden 1814-1905, cf. the Ministry of Justice's Circular letter of 27 December 1881, but was repealed as an act, not as a modiciation to the Constitution, in 1921.
